Talking to the world
The theme of this conference – Talking to the World – aims to identify the landscape of the profession, and see how we can improve the education of the next generation of interpreters to meet the demands of tomorrow.
• The conference will discuss issues related to working in a world that is fast changing, economically, politically, and technologically
• Interpreter education in universities is developing with the new demands of the profession
• Effective teaching, continuous assessment and testing are major goals for today’s trainers in interpreting schools both within universities and in the key service users, including international organisations and the European institutions.
I’ll be presenting a paper with a good colleague of mine. Register here. See you soon in Newcastle!
